Can anyone help with some legal advice?

Wow, this extremely complicated. You probably can't do much, but sense it is such a complicated situation you need to go talk to a lawyer. Many lawyers wont charge you anything unless you win, then they get a percentage, but some do charge for the initial meeting. What I suggest is get the number off of one of those TV ads for an attorney (those are very likely to only charge if you wine, and less likely to charge a fee for a meeting). Then that attorney can tell you if they think you have a case.
