I have a 51" Hitachi 51F59A-CRT Rear-projection HDTV. When should I do the 117-point convergence adjustment???

I have heard you should do it after 100 viewing hours. I have had the TV since the end of November of last year. Does this 117-point convergence improve the picture quality???
