If cartoons of Mohammad offend Muslim, why don't suicide bombers offend them?

First of all, not all Muslims wanted to behead that cartoonist or see Salman Rushdie inated. It is wrong to paint all Muslims with the same fanatical brush because there are some extremists in their ranks. Second, a lot of Muslims are offended by suicide bombers, and were offended by the 9/11 attacks.
