Mothers know best? My mom thinks she's a doctor & doesn't know jack for my problem?

I've have been suffering from hemroids for the past 6months. Although they seem to be Internal and painless they are very frustrating and uncomfortable. I tried Prep H, I tried prescribed cream from the doc. Now went to the recommended Gastro doctor....which says I need a colonoscopy to find out whats going on and needs to be done. She told me I wasn't getting this done before I even walked in...and then told him I'm not getting one. I used a sitz bath she started yelling @ me telling me thats not going to help! when it gave me the best releif so far. She told me to use laxatives which I just found make things worse...and my area feels worse now!!
