People are saying i have a morbid tattoo?

im getting a tattoo for my mom. It's a statue of Athena on my ribs. It's her favorite Goddess. Anyway people are telling me it is morbid because my mother isn't dead yet. What's wrong with me wanting her to see it. I'm going to leave room so that i can put her birthdate and deathdate when it finally happens. Hopefully not anytime soon.
