Every time I click a link from an email sent to me, or if I go to a website and click a link, I keep getting?

this page cannot be displayed, message. I went in to tools, checked internet options and listed my provider as yahoo.sbc.com/dsl. I select use as default and hit OK. I still cannot get into any links from anything. What am I doing wrong?
