Optometrist or Ophthalmologist?

Optometrist.. u need to go to Optometry school to get an O.D (usually takes 4 yrs). Most ppl go to Optometry schools after completing an undergrad degree. There are only 17? of these schools in America. It's a decent pay.. average 100,000 a year. A lot of females are going after this field because it's good salary and it's not as time determining as an Ophthalmologist. It also takes less time to complete the degree. Averagely.. u'll be done by 26. The con is that.. u can't do surgery.. u can't prescribe.. cuz technically.. u're not really a doctor.. only the US recognizes Optometrists as doctors.To become an ophthalmologist, u have to go to med school... then residency.. then specialty. U prob won't be done til at least 30. Math.. u def need to take at least a year of math in college. I think by minimum.. it has to be calculus.
